• “Justina is not only a wonderful performer but also an inspiring and patient teacher. Her ability to communicate with young kids is exceptional — she makes lessons fun, engaging, and full of encouragement. Whether she’s demonstrating a beautiful piece or breaking down techniques in a way that’s easy to understand, her passion for music shines through. Thanks to her guidance, my child has grown in both skill and confidence. She creates a positive and motivating learning environment, making every lesson something to look forward to. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, kind, and inspiring violin teacher!” — Elvis

  • “Justina is a great teacher. I'm an intermediate/advanced violin player. I started having lessons with Justina during the pandemic when I could not have in-person lessons. Still, when I got an in-person teacher, I kept having lessons with Justina because she always gave excellent pointers on improving my violin player. She is a very caring teacher and fun to work with. I strongly recommend her as a teacher.” — Clara

Teaching

Having learned from many remarkable musicians, I gained some truly valuable knowledge and experience which I would be happy to share with you.

I offer private violin lessons both in person and online, tailored to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced performers.

With many years of teaching experience, I am dedicated to helping violinists build a solid technical foundation, refine their musical expression, and reach their individual goals. I have taught at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre as principal assistant to professor Jurgis Dvarionas, where I worked with bachelor’s and master’s students, participated in examinations, and assisted in competition juries. I have also given masterclasses at Vytautas Magnus University and regularly taught at the National M. K. Čiurlionis Art School.

My teaching draws upon extensive performance and academic experience. I studied with renowned violinists and professors including Pavel Berman, Jurgis Dvarionas, Boris Kuschnir, Stephen Clapp, and Laurie Smukler. I hold degrees from prestigious institutions such as the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, and The Juilliard School in New York, where I earned my Master of Music in 2015. I have further refined my skills in masterclasses with distinguished artists including Silvia Marcovici, Sergey Krylov, Peter Oundjian, and Enrico Pace.

Alongside teaching, I have actively performed for over two decades as a soloist with chamber and symphony orchestras, in chamber ensembles, and in international festivals and competitions. Leading ensembles and collaborating with orchestras has also helped me develop strong leadership and communication skills, which I have applied to music projects and entrepreneurial initiatives.

Through this combination of performing, teaching, and project development, I strive to provide my students not only with technical mastery but also with the artistic insight and professional skills needed for a successful musical career.
